Benefits Enrollment Processing Timeline

After you enroll in your benefits through ACS and Namely, you may be wondering how long it takes for your benefits enrollment request to be processed and when you should expect to receive your ID cards in the mail. Once you submit your Namely benefits enrollment request, ACS HR reviews and processes your enrollment info within 3-5 business days. At this point, your benefits enrollment request is forwarded electronically and securely to each carrier for final processing. While each carrier processes enrollments differently, each take between 7-10 business days to finalize your enrollment data. It is at this point when the carriers can "find you" in their system and you can access your health plan information.
Enrollment in voluntary benefits through Aflac works a bit differently. After you submit your Namely benefits enrollment request and ACS HR reviews and processes your request, your enrollment request is forwarded electronically and securely to Aflac. Our Aflac representative will follow up with you personally to review your enrollment request, answer any questions you may have, and finalize your enrollment. It is important that you make contact with this representative, otherwise your enrollment will not be finalized and you may not receive the coverage you expected.

  1. Find Care and Costs: Search for in-network providers, procedures, cost estimates, and more
  2. View Claims: See a list of your most recent claims, their status, and reimbursements
  3. Download ID Cards: Access temporary ID cards for you and each of your covered dependents
  4. Update Your Profile: Make sure your contact information is up-to-date so you don’t miss out on important notifications about your plan
Remember, your enrollment must be received and processed by Cigna before you will be able to register for online account access. You may register BEFORE you receive your ID cards in the mail.

A few notes about your Cigna medical ID cards:
  1. Each covered individual will receive a separate Cigna ID card
  2. ID cards are often mailed in sets of 4 to your home (for a family of 6, expect two separate mailings of ID cards)
  3. Expect to receive your ID cards within 4 weeks of enrollment

Remember, your enrollment must be received and processed by Delta Dental before you will be able to register for online account access. You may register BEFORE you receive your ID cards in the mail.

A few notes about your Delta Dental dental ID cards:
  1. Families receive two identical Delta Dental ID cards that can be used by any covered individual
  2. ID cards are mailed with your welcome packet and will be printed on the first page with perforations to easily pop them out and save them in your wallet
  3. Expect to receive your ID cards within 4 weeks of enrollment

Vision / DeltaVision (VSP)
